Challenge

Oyster Yachts is an international market-leader in world-class cruising yachts. When developing the hull and deck for its latest high-performance model, the company required the expertise of a reliable partner who could deliver to the highest standards.

Solution

The process for creating the master pattern and manufacturing the mould was entrusted entirely to FRP, and we were able to accelerate the process using rapid manufacturing techniques.

Result

The completed 1:1 scale, 28m-long master pattern was delivered in six weeks, with gloss paint finishing and sign-off in four weeks, and full production GRP mould manufacture in eight weeks.
